We build systems that serve the people using them, and everybody here is both learning and teaching, whatever their experience.

Read the role for InternshipPay is written down. Nobody starts below a living wage for the city they live in, and nobody earns more than nine times the lowest paid on the payroll. Each role states what it pays.
Time off is earned day by day. Every paid day earns two points, ten points buys a paid day off, and you take one without telling us why — which comes to about a day a week across a year. If you need a day before you have earned it, take it anyway: the balance goes below zero and costs nothing to carry.
Jobs here are meant to last, and nobody loses one for not being good enough at it. Where a role has an end date, like an internship, the role says so.
You get a say in the work. Decisions that change what you do, or how you do it, are talked through with the people they land on before they are settled.
Nobody counts your hours or watches your screen. You get a problem and decide how to solve it yourself. Saying you are stuck, or that you broke something, is ordinary here, starting with the people in charge.
Five steps: two minutes, ten minutes, an hour, a day in our office, and then an answer. The day is paid.
A phone number, the times you are free to talk, and one question answered in a few sentences: what do you want to learn on the job? We read them in the order they arrive and keep going until we have found the person, so we will write to everybody once the role is filled.
A call at a time you chose. Long enough to hear how you think about something you care about, short enough that we can call everybody we ought to. If it goes well, we ask for an hour next.
Half talking and half working: we give you something small, watch how you go at it, and help when you get stuck. Getting stuck is expected — it is most of what we are there to see. Everybody who reaches this call hears back with our reasons, either way.
A full day alongside us on a problem we have set — hard enough to be interesting, and long enough to see how we actually work together, which is the whole reason for the day. We tell you the hours beforehand, and everybody who spends the day with us receives ₹1,000 with our thanks. It is a small sum against a day of somebody's time, and we are glad to give it.
We decide within two working days of your visit. A yes comes as an offer letter, with the pay, the hours and the date you would start all written down, and you are welcome to take your time over it. A no comes with our reasons.
You would be joining early, while the company is small. Every decision is close enough to touch, and a say here means a decision can come out the other way.
We work in short cycles, and would rather be corrected early than be right too late. This is the right year to join if you have wanted to watch a company get built from the ground up.
